The old phrase, “Surrender Dorothy”, was my all time absolute favorite thing to see when I lived in the D.C. area. Coming around that corner on the 495 Outer Loop near Bethesda is always breathtaking. I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to sketch this fantastic recreation of an old favorite.
