“Ma’Khia Bryant was murdered by a white police officer who shot her in the chest four times, after she herself called the police for help when a group of people were attacking her. Her murder went down within minutes of the verdict of the guilty cop who murdered George Floyd.  Ma’Khia was only 16 years old. Her life mattered. Her future mattered. Her endless spirit, as described lovingly by her foster sister, mattered.
