Is there anything more on-brand for 2020 than the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree disaster that happened at Rockefeller Center this year?  That poor tree looked absolutely ragged, and then they found an owl that had been in the tree when they cut it down!  The owl was in the tree for the whole process, traveling nearly 200 miles to NYC, and was taken to a local wildlife rescue to be cared for and released safely back into the wild.  Our bad, little buddy.  2020 has been a wild ride for everyone!

I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to draw them together.  These two have absolutely captured my heart, and there are hundreds and thousands of us who have all instantly pack bonded with this rag-tag duo.  We love the sad tree.  We love the owl, and that he’s been named Rockefeller.  We identify with the entire bizarre situation and will lash out at anyone who doesn’t also instantly feel for them.

So without further adieu, here are the Rockefeller Christmas Pals.

Handwritten, cursive signature says "pea flower tea" in lowercase letters. The flower is a small sketch of a bloom, instead of the word for "flower".
